Dr. Sonal Bhoot, DMD

Dentist & Owner

Dr. Sonal Bhoot, DMD is the owner dentist at Dental Expressions and brings over 20 years of experience providing comprehensive, patient-centered dental care in Lee’s Summit and surrounding communities. She earned her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the New Jersey Dental School in 2003 and is committed to delivering high-quality care for patients of all ages.

Dr. Bhoot’s clinical expertise includes cosmetic dentistry, CEREC same-day restorations, Invisalign, endodontics, oral surgery, TMJ treatment, restorative dentistry, and laser-assisted procedures. She is deeply committed to continuing education and stays current with modern techniques to ensure safe, effective, and comfortable care.

An active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), Kansas Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, and the Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Bhoot is also involved in local study clubs and community initiatives that support dental education and access to care.

Kimberli Hoeszle

Registered Dental Hygienist

Kim is one of our most experienced dental hygienists. She is proficient in the administration of local anesthesia, nitrous oxide, and CPR. Kim enjoys making her patients feel comfortable and improving their health. She works on patients and performs deep cleanings with laser along with general routines 6 month hygiene appointments. She uses scalers and ultrasonics and works on all age groups. She has a large following and has been in practice for many years.

Prosper Lewis Grayson

Lead Dental Assistant

Prosper is our lead dental assistant and has been providing care for over 15 years. She welcomes our patients and makes them extremely comfortable. Prosper has assisted on procedures with nitrous oxide, extractions, root canals, dentures, cosmetic services and all general dentistry procedures. She has worked with all age groups and prides herself on giving our patients the best experience with minimal stress. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her loving husband and three children. She loves to read and listen to music.

Jaycee Dixon

Registered Dental Hygienist

Jaycee is our registered dental hygienist who recently graduated from the Concorde hygiene program. She is licensed in Kansas and Missouri and is certified in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide. She has been with our practice since 2022 as a dental assistant but then went back to hygiene school. We are excited to have her back as she is a valuable part of our team. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her high school sweetheart Zack and her new puppy Rocky

Kimberli Decourcy

Schedule Manager

Kimberli is our lead schedule coordinator. She is also is cross trained as an assistant. She has been in dentistry for over 30 years. She is a wonderful person and is very tune with our patient needs. She greets and checks patients in and out of the office. She presents treatment plans, answers patient phone calls, and collects payments. She is very experienced and strives to address our patients needs. Kimberli is originally from Arkansas but has made Kansas City her home for many years now. In her free time she enjoys her family and her loving dog.

Misty Vantine

Insurance Coordinator

Misty is our auxillary insurance coordinator who verifies insurance and loads benefits into our software. She accesses proper insurance information from our patients which allows for smoother processing of claims. She loves working in our side office and she often greets patients in the waiting room. In her free time she enjoys spending time locally in Lees Summit.

Mac

Dental Assistant

Mac is our newer dental assistant and we are excited to have her in our office. She enjoys working with patients and is trained in most of the procedures in our office. In her spare time she is a swim instructor.
